KARMA "the sound of glass"

KARMA "the sound of glass" designed for the competition
Modelled in Rhinoceros and Blender
bronze xone award | glassware category

Design Decisions:
30 seconds of bird sounds were recorded. Afterwards, this clip was recorded at periodic intervals (3 seconds) and because of the sound graphics obtained by the sounds, topographic sound curves were obtained by the abstraction method. Then, the centres of these graphs were found and turned into topographic curves in the y plane at regular intervals. Form-making studies were carried out with these topography lines, and a 3-dimensional formal design was obtained. The resulting formal structure is now a data product visualized by drawing the data from the sound graph of the Meadow Figurine and transforming it into topography lines.
